I started SL 5 x 5 on Monday. I completely understand the concept of a rest day, and my arms will be thanking me tomorrow (darn OHP:grumble: ). BUT i'm in the middle of 30DS (lvl 2 day 4 completed). Should I try to piggyback them into the same day? Or drop the 30DS until I finish the 5 x 5 series?

    I would either drop the 30 Day Shred completely or use it as your cardio on your off days - if you really enjoy it. Your results with heavy lifting will be much better than 30 Day Shred. I know. I did them both :laugh:

    OK Cardio on my off days it is! Unless of course the muscles that I've used revolt.

    I say drop the 30DS. Once you get heavier in the weights, your legs will need a rest from all that jumping that 30DS has you do in phase 2.
