What Inspires You?

We all go up and down with our motivation to exercise and watch the food. What do each of you do to keep yourself on track?

For me, I find terrific encouragement in reading blogs by those who've successfully lost 100+ and kept it off. I try to find a new story every day. They did it! I CAN DO IT TOO!

I've tried to read the success stories everyday and find one person who will inspire or motivate me for the day.

At work, we have a 10 week program "healthy u" and I've been going to the meetings each Thursday. It helps motivate me to get through the next week.

    - The Success Stories thread definitely helps.
    - Being in this group and on MFP in general, where others are checking in every day & having people to chat about weight loss helps too.
    - Just being determined.
    - Having health issues that can be controlled with weight loss is a motivator.
    - Keeping my goals small helps, especially since I'm losing weight more slowly than I hoped and expected to.
    - My weight loss marble jars.
    - Seeing clothes start to fit better or get too lose.
    - My measurements getting smaller.
    - Having a few friends and family in the loop so that they can help me stay on track, offer advice and encouragement when it gets hard. And knowing that if I fail and quit that I'll have to face them.

:blushing: Haha! Ok, I have two jars. One has a bunch of marbles in it. Every time I lose a pound I move a marble to the other jar. I saw the idea on Pinterest. I like having a visual.
