Sick and teething baby...I'm EXHAUSTED

New mom here and my 5 month old is having his first cold AND is teething. OMG- I'm exhausted! My new best friends are the nosefrida, baby vicks, tylenol, and orajel. Please tell me the night screaming will go away soon!! I googled baby colds and it says it can last for 10 days- ugh, I might not make it! I'm already a zombie at work and FORGET about eating healthy right now (if you can see my food journal- please don't judge! LOL). Does rocking my baby count as exercise?!
Girls, please tell me I can get through this!

It's just a bump in the road, you got this girl! Just take it one day at a time :flowerforyou:0

It will pass. Baby is appreciating the extra love right now and you are the one he wants to be with.
Being a mommy is hard work, but being a mommy zombie is freakin exhausting.
Throw some squats into your rocking routine and you've got yourself a complete workout! Take it easy, mama0 -
Thanks ladies for your encouragement! LO is sleeping better so I'm hoping we are on the tail end of me being a "mommy zombie"! LOL0

It will pass. Slowly but surely, even the length of the 10 days, it will get better. You will get sleep again. Your little one will starting smiling and cooing at you soon!0

It will get better! You forget these tough times, promise! I was pregnant with my 2nd when my 1st was 14 months old, so proof that it's not all bad or I wouldn't have done it again! My 2nd has been a lot worse with the teething though, she always gets snotty and a temperature. She's 21 months now and only has her back teeth to get now.
It must be tough having to be at work. I went back to work 1st time when my son was 7.5 months, and 2nd time my daughter was nearly 11 months.
We still have some bad nights with both of them, but usually a bad night is followed by a better one these days!0
