Question about the Fit bit...do I have to be signed up to some subscription for something to use it? It says it has a free account, so I don't have to pay a monthly fee for using it do I? If I do what's a good HRM that will show calories burned that I don't constantly have to keep pressing a button to update my heart rate? The one I have now I have to keep pressing the button and I keep forgetting to press it so I'm never sure if my readings are accurate. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!

Nope, you don't have to buy a service. It syncs with your computer. Your fitbit comes with USB port/cradle kinda thing and that must stay plugged into computer all the time. That's how mine is... However.........

The new ones sync directly with your phone! No computer USB thing..... I want one of the new ones!!!!!

You have to have an iphone 4s or higher for fitbit one to sync. My one syncs fine, so I bought one to my mom. With much disappointment hers doe not work because she has an iphone 4. I know Android does not work either yet.

For hearth rate I bought a scosche mytreck band that measures and records HR during a workout. It syncs with several apps on the iphone through bluetooth.
