Hey guys! You have all been quiet for the past few days! How is everyone? Still pushing play, or taking it easy for the week? I haven't started Week 14 yet.... the downstairs neighbor strikes again!!! Not being able to work out when I want to is really, really deflating. I wish I had another place that I could do TF, because running on the treadmill gets old really quick. My hubby leaves on Sunday for a month, so I'm hoping to really focus on my fitness (if Ms.Thumper downstairs will leave me alone for a bit).

Hi ladies, I know what you mean been checking to see who is writing but.....
I am pushing play I did turbo fire 45 ez and CLX ab burner today. It really sucks for you about Thumper.(I wouldn't even give her the respect of Mrs) LOL I was thinking I used to workout after I got off work in a room with a dvd player and thought maybe the gym has a room that they don't use at a certin time, you could use. I mean if your going anyway maybe they would let you. Now that I wrote it, it kinda sounds werid but you never know I guess. Or maybe a friend has a basement. I just know how doing the same thing can get real boring. Good news is spring is coming and you can take your runs outside
I hope things improve either way. Hope you enjoy the last few days with your hubby. I just can't imagiane what it would be like. You are a strong women. Keep pushing play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hello ladies. I'm still pressing "play". I restarted Week 10 on Monday so now I'm on the same schedule as the calander. Rest day yesterday but did not rest. I got on our elliptical and burned so many more calories than I do with TF and I barely broke out in a sweat. Go figure. Today is HIIT 25/Sculpt 30. I'm going to do just HIIT 25, skip out on Sculpt 30 and do the bonus dvd of Chalean's Burn Circuit 1.
Have a great rest of the week!0 -
Well, I finally did it. Instead of watching and listening to Burn Circuit 1...I actually did it today. After the 1st 10 minutes, I had to let my pride go and use 5lb weights. On the lower body ones, I was able to do 12lbs. I love that it was only 35 minutes. So, in addition to Turbo Fire, I'll add an elliptical workout, Burn Circuit 1 and Body Beast to the mix. I've only done Body Beast Build Legs. I haven't tried the other beast workouts yet.
Hope you're all doing well!0 -
LOL, Stel, you made me laugh out loud. Really! How was your calorie burn? I like CLX , she is tough. Each workout is harder so as you go along, you increase weight and sometimes reps. I do like the shorter workouts. Shot but intense does apply here.
I did fire 60 today, Did I ever tell you I love that workout. ;-P
Jeni- I think I'd set off a smoke bomb on Thumper's butt if I were you. She would have to leave for that. heheheheh.
Make it a great friday ladies!!!!
PS. I have a friend who posted this today. So cute made me smile. She said "If you stand on your tip toes you can see friday." Puts a cute pic of a kid trying to do this in my mind.0 -
Hi ladies! I still haven't workout out this week to TF *wahwah*. Between the neighbor being home and my hubby packing up for his month-long training thing, I haven't been able to get much done. The beginning of next week is going to be super busy too, but I am going to start week 14 if it kills me!0

Hi Ladies, So I had my blood work done this morning which just sucked. I tried the happy feet that worked till the girl doing blood desided to move the needle cause the blood wasn't flowing good enough. It hurt. I lost all train of thought, then she said she had to redo it. I have tiny veins and have always been hard to stick. It just dosn't make sense to me I am so tall and now big, but little veins. They refuse to allow me to donate blood for that reason, increases chance to pass out.
So she stuck a surface vein and sucked out my blood with a sryinge. Took 8 tubes from me. SUCKED!!! I do have to say the most I had was 12 taken and that day they did both arms. THAT SUCKED!!
Oh well it's done and I see the doc on wed. I didn't push play today. Just to tired. oh I have my tom too. So I have been feeling weary today. I hope you ladies got the job done. Have a great night.

Hey Vin! I'm a "hard stick too". I have very narrow veins and deep ones too. I have lots of different doctors for all my ailments and when it's blood work time, the techs see me and they run or they're making bets on who gets to stick me. Once, one of them had to take it in my hand. That's the worst and the most painful! When they gave me my IV for my twin c-section, it was on the thumb side of my wrist. It pains me just writing about it. One nurse told me that if I start drinking lots of water the day before the blood test and the morning of the test, it would really help to get my blood because my veins were narrow, sometimes my blood would dry up then the tech would move the needle while it was still in my hand or arm. The drinking water thing works. I haven't had too much pain recently and they'd get me with 1 stick and maybe 4 vials at the most. They always use a butterfly needle with me...never those big huge thick needles. I've worked in Surgery before and have no problems with blood and guts so I will actually watch them poke me just to make sure they won't move the needle while still in my arm.I hope your test results are fine. Praying for you that you'll hear something positive.
Last night I did HIIT 20 (I prefer HIIT 25 instead) and Tone 30. Starting Week 11 tomorrow.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!0 -
Heya Vini and Preshus, I'm a tiny-vein girl too. Those surface veins suck so bad. I feel your pain >,<
I figured out that the lady downstairs has switched schedules, and now works from about 4pm-4am... so I guess I'm going to become an evening workout person! My hubby left this morning at 4:45, so I've been kind of lonesome all day. A good workout would do me good right now0 -
Hi Stel and Jeni, Jeni, I am glad you figured out what was up with thumper. Now you have a plan. I always miss my hubby in the evenings when he is gone so this maybe a blessing in discize (oops spelling on that one) for you. Stel, I did drink lots of water that day. I knew with me fasting they would be harder so I wanted to help in anyway i could. I think that is why I felt so bad after I ate and had to lay down. To much water my body was on over load since I don't drink any till after I have my coffee. LOL, I tried to get them to use butterfly needles on me but I always get the ones who think they can do it.
Oh well. Thanks for thoughts and prayers. Somehow I got my workouts screwed up and did a repeat today of CLX push 2 and HIIT 15. I hope tomro I will be back on track. Have a great night and see you in the AM or well PM for me. LOL
