I hear there's going to be a new film in 2014. What do you think of the remakes? I thought they were ok but the original is still the best.

    I agree the original is awesome. Charlton Heston was a BMF on that. I did enjoy the prequel. It's the other remakes I wasn't much into. When there's a marathon of the originals I won't come out the house.

    You can't touch the original, but the recent "Rise", was very good.

    Last year I read the original novel by Pierre Boule. Also not as good as the movie, they changed a great deal.
