My home is actually in western Maryland, which is also home to SavageMan. The last couple years, we've been there year 'round, and training for hills was built into the territory. This year, we are in south Georgia for the winter, and it's pancake-flat.

Today I did intervals -- 10 minutes in low gears and high cadence, then 10 minutes in high gears at low cadence, counting 50-80 revolutions standing and then 50-80 sitting. Whew! I'm whupped!
