This weekend my parents were in town so we went down to Monument Circle and climbed the stairs at the Soldiers & Sailors Monument. 330 stairs...much harder than I thought it would be. That got me thinking, what do other people do to stay active that might be unique to Indy?

My wife and I did that last month, great views. I also enjoy the Indiana War Memorial, and the Garfield Park Sunken garden / greenhouse.0

Others have mentioned walking the canal downtown, and walking, running, or biking the Monon trail..0

I'd like to do one of those segway tours that they do from White River State Park.

I love the various parks that are around, especially up towards the Carmel and Westfield areas - one in particular that was pretty awesome was somewhere near 106th and Spring Mill if I do recall - I don't recall the name of the park but I joined B.A.S.E. Fitness on a workout one weekend - that was quite creative and draining!
Also really enjoy the canal - I've only been there once, but I definitely plan to go back when the weather warms up a bit. Downtown in general can be pretty fun.. I had a hell of a birthday there this last year!0 -
Betting on what the weather will be an hour from now ... I lose alot of money that way.0

I like to go to Climb Time on the northeast side - it's a lot of fun and a great workout!
And I would love to go to "Go Ape" at Eagle Creek, but I'm not paying $55!! :grumble:0 -

Their website only mentions a $5 parking fee.... I guess that's how they "get you", huh?0
