working out while sick

What are your thoughts on working out while under the weather? I hear SO many differing opinions on this. Some say - push through if you have a cold, others say - rest up and heal.
Curious what the consensus is here. I will say, I think there HAS to be a different approach with crossfit because of how hard you push yourself. I mean, it isn't like you are going for a light jog.

I say rest. Adding intense exercise on top of an already stressed body can increase your cortisol levels. And you won't get your box mates sick, either.0

For me it depends how I feel. if its just sniffles I would go, but yes like the others here have said you dont' want to infect others either lol. it is super demanding and if you have a fever it will make it worse im sure.0

I agree that your body will let you know. I'll be active unless I get body aches or the sickness has made me exhausted0
