Morning
I'm 6 wks PP with my 2nd child. My daughter is 7 and my little man is of course 6 weeks.
I gained TONS of weight with my daughter and even though I lost some, I've just been gaining it over the years. I did really good and gained about 10 lbs during the whole pregnancy, considering my little man was 9 lbs 2 oz, that means it wasn't much. But starting out over 200 I was still too big. Having a big boy my stomach was HUGE, and I'm very short so I have lots of skin and fat right around my middle.
I'm already below my weight from when I got pregnant, but with everything around my middle my pants still won't fit :sad: There's my story, hoping to get back into the gym this Friday and get things going!

Congrats on the little one! You've come to the right place- there are many ladies on here that are super supportive. My LO is 5 months old and I'm barely just starting to get back in to shape...good for you for starting at 6 weeks!! :drinker:0

My youngest is 2 1/2 months and I also have a lot of fat right in the middle. I lost all pregnancy weight but I had too much weight on when I conceived in the first place. Its been really frustrating at how much jiggle I have it was way more than with my first. Good luck!!!!0

Oh my gosh! This is my story exactly. I'm 5 months PP with my second child, and I still look 6 months pregnant. I also started my second pregnancy over 200 pounds and I'm only 5'2" So I have that same annoying bulge around the middle. None of my old clothes fit and I can't find any new clothes that fit either. Maternity clothes are usually too big, and regular clothes don't fit around the stupid bulge. Dresses accentuate the pregnant look. HAH it was way easier after the first baby!0

You are in the right place!! I had my son in 2009 and gained 100 lbs with him. (from 120 to 220) and delivered at 220. In the 3 years since I have had him I only lost 8 lbs! my starting weight was 212 at this start of this pregnancy and now I am at 218.8 at 20 weeks in. My Dr is encouraging me to loose weight so I have been doing okay. I got up to 222.8 at week 17 and have lost about 4 lbs since then, I hope my Dr sees that I am trying!0

Congrats!!! That's fantastic you only gained what your son weighed! I gained 39 lbs with my son, I'm about 12 weeks PP and have 6lbs f baby weight to go. I think everything fits differently for everyone after having a baby, you just gotta work hard and after time you'll see results! good luck and feel free to add me!0

Thanks everyone, I know it's a slow race, but I was just hoping for things to semi fit. I have not been great with my eating at all, so I know I need to start paying attention to that and get in the gym more, or at least work out at home.0
