Hello,
I just want to take the time to introduce myself to the group. I admit that I've been lurking since the beginning of the year, sorry, and it’s time to actually engage with the group. I've been doing Stronglifts 5 x 5 for three weeks, this one was supposed to be my fourth but I’m sick :frown: , and now I know why I struggled to go to the gym for so long; because I hate cardio. I started the program having to lower the recommended weights due to lower back pain, but I’m happy to say that the pain has diminished in the last three weeks and I feel much stronger. So, You will be seeing me around and I will be posting questions as they come, cause the main forums can be a little rough, and I don’t want my poor friend @ Loftearmen to think that I am taking advantage of his good nature and willingness to answer my post…

Welcome! Glad you were able to deload and get that fixed fairly quickly. Being sick sucks I was last week and just couldnt get off the couch even though I wanted to.0

Welcome! The advantage of starting with lower weights is you get to sound awesome and say "yeah I just doubled my starting weight" sooner.0
