suggestions for vacation ride?

We are getting ready to take a trip to AustinTexas in abouts three weeks. I've been looking at maps and trying to get an idea of where we might want to day trip to. I've never been to Texas so am fairly unfarmiliar with the area. I think riding would help us both destress from Alaska winter. We have a week and I'm getting excited to go play outside.

I've never been there, but here is a website to check out. Some of the routes have notes about the route, scenic, rural, urban, road conditions, etc. It might give you a place to start.
