Iam 24 weeks prego with my 3 child ( 2nd boy)
. I lost 10 pounds in the beging because of morning sickness, and my last prenatal apt, still haven't gained any weight. I go back today in hopes that I have gained at least a pound.I look prego. I have a hard time eating for some reason, most of the time it feels like Iam forcing my self to eat. I never feel hungry. Anyone have this problem, any way to help feel more hungry?

Hello,
I'm nearly 21 weeks and have only gained a pound. I'm not too worried though because I know from my previous pregnancy that I will gain the majority in the second half. A lot depends on your starting weight. If you are classified as overweight or obese you don't need to gain a lot (15-20 I think) but if you are underweight you probably need to make an effort to put some on. I would go for more calorie dense healthy foods, peanut butter, avacadoes, etc. so that you don't have to eat as much to get the calories you need. If you track your calories on here I would make sure I was getting very close to the recommended numbers. I know it's not easy when you really don't feel like eating. Maybe add some excercise to help build an appetite? I know I'm ravenous after swimming. If you are really concerned speak to your doctor, but I bet you will start gaining soon.

Hi! You sound just like me when I was pregnant with my daughter- lost 10 lbs at the beginning because of morning sickness/no appetite (seems like this pregnancy is going the same way so far.. Down 5 lbs at 10 weeks)
I ended up having my first gain at 26 weeks and gained a total of 25 lbs- mostly in the 3rd tri (net 15)- she was over 7lbs at birth and everything went ok.
If you're worried, talk to your obgyn but in my experience, weight loss is a side effect of pregnancy.. Everyone is different I guess!
Hope you feel good!0
