I'm sorry if I'm double posting....I didn't see a posting for day 5 so I thought I would start one.

I had to do some important things this morning so I was not able to shred like I usually do early which really through me off. I kept blowing it off but finally 9pm rolled around and I made myself do it. I really badly want to complete the 30 day shred, 10 days on each level for 30 days straight. Last time I tried (started Jan 1st) I took some rest days and after completing day 26 I went out of town for a couple days and totally fell off the wagon. Yes I did quit on day 27 : ( But it was also because I had let myself down already....when I had started I wanted to complete it with NO rest days. So I am going to do it this time.....WITH NO REST DAYS!

Who else is doing the shred with no rest days?

The last time I did it I quit at 16 days, though I did have a couple of rest days primarily because I got so friggin' bored with the same stuff everyday for 10 days straight.

This time I am doing it with no rest days. I cheat my rest day if I am honest. I like to mix up the times that I do 30DS so my body won't know when to expect it. However, on a Saturday I do it at 8am and then the next day on the Sunday I do it at 8pm. So my body gets a 36hr rest but my mind doesn't!

I allow at least one rest day a week or two if I just don't feel like working out. Your body needs a rest day to repair the muscles you are breaking down by exercising. I'm guessing 30ds will take me about 6 weeks to finish. I'm not in a hurry to finish it, I just want to complete it.

    Why you need rest days:
