    Very interesting, thank you for posting! I love Runners World! However, I'm confused about the "even pace rule." Runners World says you should run at an even pace during your 5k/10k race. However, I read 2 more articles about this matter on the same website. The first said you should run a certain type of negative split (run your first mile or so slower than your 5k pace and then speed up). The other one said you should start fast, then slow down after a mile or so, then speed up again- a U-type negative split. So now I don't know which method is better...
