I really wish Andrea would get off the D! I mean really! She had more than one person tell her that the governor is sick and hinted at what happened with Maggie and she still got in the car to go back to Woodbury. I hope it's to freaking kill him! I mean, does she need someone to draw a picture and color it for her?
And Rick, he better not give up Michonne! Go to war! I don't even know why there has to be a war. He's one guy and the people closest to him are starting to realize what a nut he is. Freaking take him out.
Noon in two days....1 bullet to the head. Go!0 -
Andrea obviously doesn't know the meaning of keeping secrets. She just HAD to spill the beans about Lori and Shane and how baby Judith might not be Rick's. Really, Andrea, really? You couldn't keep that to yourself. Why does the Governor need to know that anyway? I LOVE seeing Andrea marginalized. Neither Rick nor the Governor paid her any attention.
I can't tell you how much I can't stand Andrea BUT I think she's going to have a redemptive arc. I think the writers are setting it up so that she sabotages the Governor's plans for attack. That's what it looked like in the previews for next week. Also, in her little chat with the Governor when they returned to Woodbury, you could tell that she didn't believe him. You can also tell Milton isn't so much in the Governor's corner either, but he's so spineless and weak, I don't know what he could really do.
Milton and Hershel bonding..."at least buy me dinner before you see my stump"
Good to see Darryl and Martinez bonding too in their own weird machismo way. Nothing bonds too alpha males like killing walkers.
I don't think Rick is going to turn over Michonne. That's not his style. Heck, he even had problems killing that teen Randall and he hadn't even done anything to help the group like Michonne had. I think the writers are killing time until the big season ending fight. But it might be smart of Rick to pretend to turnover Michonne but cook up a plan with her as to attacking Woodbury.0 -
This episode was definitely slow on the action but it's definitely ramping up for some major action. First of all I can't believe that there is only 3 episode left!!!
I really liked how the sets of people from Woodbury and the prison bonded while the Governor and Rick were having their sit down. Especially Herschel and his "buy me dinner first" line!! LOL I hope that they remember that when they are shooting at each other.
Andrea is really left out in the cold now. I think she had no choice but to go with the Governor. She got a pretty cold reception at the prison...they basically kicked her out the last time she was there. And Herschel basically told her that if she didn't side with the Governor that she would start a war. I think the Governor made it pretty clear that she is no longer in his good graces when he kicked her out of the meeting and she made it clear that she's not on his side anymore when they got back to Woodbury and she walked away from him. Personally I think she is going to try and turn people against the Governor. Convince the people of Woodbury that he's lose his mind. She could start with the mom of the asthmatic kid they forced into their "army".
I think Rick did the right thing but telling everyone that they are going to war. I'm pretty sure everyone else would have wanted to throw Michonne to the wolves. The only people that really like her at this point are Rick and Carl. Plus Maggie, Glenn, Rick and Merle are really the only ones that understand how psychotic the Governor is.
I'm SOOOOO glad that Glenn and Maggie are back together. Although the whole time they were having sex I was screaming "THAT"S SO IRRESPONSIBLE!!!!!" And Herschel's youngest daughter earned her street cred by firing that gun in the air to break up the Merle/Glenn fight.0 -
I was annoyed at Glenn and Maggie getting sexy time when they're supposed to be on watch. What bad timing. Does anyone on this show every man that watchtower as they're supposed to? It's a zombie apocalypse. Darryl, Rick and Hershel are outside the prison. The Governor could have killed them and attacked the prison, but not Glenn and Maggie have to get naked. :noway:
I was sure that a walker was going to eat them. I thought that's why we were being shown so much of their er..passion.
Andrea should kill the Governor. That's the only redemption I can see for her. Then the prison group should move into Woodbury and assimilate with that group and Rick can be the new leader.0 -

I had to laugh at this because I had a similar thought! My comment to my husband was, "Does one of them keep a condom on hand at all times? Because this could be Lori 2.0 in 9 months." God, I hope not. It'll be bad enough trying to handle Judith without having another, younger baby (plus pregnancy and birth) to handle.0 -

I could have written this myself - it's like you read my mind!
I was shocked that the Governor knew about Lori and Shane, and I figured Andrea must have been gossiping. I know Tyrese and those guys didn't know that, so they couldn't have told him. I wonder how they're going to play into this whole thing.
My guess is that Andrea went back so that she could help take down the Governor. I'm hoping she just kills him (I need her to redeem herself finally!). I also think Milton is pretty disenchanted with him, too, so perhaps he will kill him, or maybe he and Andrea will team up. However I think the Governor is wise to both of them and may try to kill them off before they can take him down, which may lead into the others' seeing how effed up he really is.
I also appreciated the others' bonding (I thought Milton and Herschel were adorable). I loved the part where Martinez was about to smash in the one zombie's head with the baseball bat, and Daryl threw the knife. Pretty badass. Assuming he's as cool as he appears to be, I'd love to see Martinez join Rick's group.
Yes, they'll go to war (there's got to be something big happening in these last three episodes), and I don't think they'll give up Michonne. Unless she gave herself up (which Rick doesn't seem to want to give her the opportunity to do), I think Rick (and Herschel) thinks it's immoral to give her up, plus he's well aware that it wouldn't matter, that the Governor would try to kill them all anyway.0 -
I agree with some poster above, not enough action last few episodes.. Come on let's get going here!..
I wonder if they agree to give Michonne up only as 'distraction" then the WAR starts?? Either way we better get some action soon..
It's bound to happen I'm assuming a charachter on Rick's team will die in the season 3 ending.. I'm just hoping it's not Hershel (he's grown on me)..
Yeah March 31st I believe is the Season Finale!.. Dang that was fast!!.. I just hope the writer they brought back makes Season 4 a good one..0 -
so sad that there's only a few episodes left....seems like we just started this season! :sad:0

I rewatched the pow-wow meeting last night. Did anyone else notice that Hershel was driving the car, but it's his right leg that was amputated and that he tied on the leg after they were parked? How is he driving the car without a leg? Left-leg driving. I don't know why that bothered me but thought it was odd.
Also noticed the gun the Governor strapped onto the underside of the table, and how he was eyeballing (one eye) Rick as they were drinking. He reminds me of a televangelist - all smiles but the devil in disguise.0 -

There has to be downtime to develop the story and keep our emotions connected to the characters. Just like in a real situation, there isn't always going to be action.0 -

I thought it was funny and bizarre to have the disabled man drive the car. Don't most of use the right leg to drive? He must have some awesome left leg driving skills. Why not take Carol for the drive instead of Hershel? Unless given what happened to Maggie, they were worried about taking a woman with them.
I thought for sure the Guv would pull the knife on Rick. Did anyone else think Rick was stupid to drink that whiskey? I probably wouldn't have. Not like you have to mind your manners and drink it just because it was offered.0 -
normally I'd agree on the whiskey front....cause I don't usually accept drinks from strangers either.....unless I've already had too many drinks...then I don't care.....lol:blushing: but his peeps were right outside....though we ALL know you can't trust the dude with an eyepatch and no first name....or wearing a tunic....jk bad joke, and referenced in the wrong group/thread.0

I thought the same thing!! He could have easily poisoned his drink. And considering they aren't eating much and haven't been drinking it all he's got a low tolerance and needs to be as clear as possible. Also why was anyone surprised that The Governor showed up early to rig his gun up?? The people at Woodbury can't be that clueless about what a dirt bag he is.0
