I've never had the non period issues but have had the issues of extreemly heavey periods and Longer cycle types. But when I have been less heavey I would notice big improvements on my period, more regular of a flow and more like a 30 day cycle.

It can for some people. I'm currently on the pill, so I don't have that issue, but when I go off it, I doubt that losing weight will have helped. For me, I had absent periods even when I was 110 lbs as a teenager so I don't think losing weight is the key for me.

But yes, it definitely can be for some people.

Every woman with PCOS is different, so it's impossible to generalize. It makes it such a difficult disease to deal with because there's no one "cure all" answer that works for everyone. But if you stick with the weight loss and healthy lifestyle, maybe that will work, or maybe try speaking with a naturopath... there is something out there that will work for you! You just have to keep trying stuff til you find it.
