I have been working my butt off the past week and a half. Went for my weigh in today and it says i gained a pound. I dont get it? I eat 1260 calories a day and work out 4 times a week bout to start doing some classes so it will b 5 times a week. i had gastric bypass surgery and lost about 180 lbs and gained weight back in the past 2 years due to having a baby and high levels of stress within the last year. Is it because of this PCOS that its going to make it alot harder for me to lose this weight again. I just want to get back down 50 lbs to where i was before. I am trying so hard and nothing seems to work.

I know that this may sound crazy, but it could be that you are not eating enough! I know that MFP can be very off on what you need to eat. If I do the settlings on MFP it says I sould be eating 1290 Calories but after doing an assessment at my gym I discovered that I needed to eat 1700 calories.

Another thing that could be going on too is that you are eating too many processed carbs and not enough "Real" Foods. Try cutting back on your process carbs.

Good Luck! I know it can be frustrating when you try so hard and don't see any results. Feel free to add me as a friend for support.

Make sure you eat back your exercise calories if you're going by the MFP settings! Otherwise your calories will be too low, and your body will start slowing itself down in order to hang on to what it's got.
