I started off with the show and then went back to read the graphic novels. SOOOOOO different! I've only finished through I've only made it through volume 48. The show has definitely focused on developing the characters more than the graphic novels seemed to. I am a huge Daryl fan. I'm glad they created his character, but there are other things that the show left out or changed completely that I wish they had left in.
