hi momma's have you ever heard this DIASTASIS RECTI? (also known as abdominal seperation) this usually happening to some woman got pregnant. i think this is the reason why my flabby tummy is not budging whatever core or abs exercise i am trying to do. i read some reviews that i shouldnt do some abs work out or crunches or some planks because it will just get worse and ive been doing those said exercises after 6 weeks postpartum till now (plus this is my 3rd pregnancy already)
any idea of how to make it this heal ar any of you mommas got in this situation and had recover it, and how long did it take?

I had my 2nd csec 7mo ago. I think you just try and strengthen your core in addition to your workouts. My rib cage jutted out and it didn't help that my baby was transverse either.
If you gave vaginal birth I expect you'd heal faster than not. I'm back to pre-preg weight but my stomach is still my problem area. Hoping for the best!0 -
I don't have this, but I was just listening to some moms in my neighborhood talk about it the other day. My understanding from the conversation is that you should probably have a professional (with specific training to deal with it) look at it to be sure. A professional physical therapist who has been certified to work on women with this condition should also be covered by insurance.0

I just did the test and I could fit like 4 fingers in the valley. I guess I have it and that explains a whole lot!!! So glad you posted this. I found a website that gives appropriate exercises if anyone is interested.
