EBF, growth spurts, and hungry! Vent

My three month old is hitting a growth spurt- she is either crying or eating with a few interruptions of sleep. It is killing my eating- I have only one arm usually so I am eating easy one hand foods. Can't really cook (she doesn't want to be in any carrier). I am so tired between her and my 2 year old, husbands offered to order wings- I was thinking "yay, no cooking and i can eat one handed". I am so hungry (guessing the nonstop nursing). I only get 50% of my workout done. I would giver her to dad, but no matter how deep of a sleep, she knows! I know in a day or two it will be normal, but these days are exhausting! Thanks for the vent time :-)

I ran into this during her 3-week growth spurt and it was a pita! She also had a cluster feeding session day 2 while we were still in the hospital and my husband cut and fed me my food because she was constantly attached! Is your husband inclined to cook (I ask it that way, because some people are just not made to cook meals lol); if so, have him cook and feed you - it can be romantic
Otherwise, if you don't have one, invest in a crock pot; easy to throw ingredients together and it does all the work, and the meat recipes just fall apart you don't need more than one hand to eat! And they make great leftovers and you can put them in single serving containers for easy reheating/eating. Just some thoughts... hope this helps and hang in there! Once you get past this one, you won't see another until 6 months (so I've heard/read
)!

At first the growth spurts were frustrating for me. I could never get anything done around the house, baby wouldn't let me put him down, I was exhausted and starving.
Then I just gave in to the power of the growth spurt, and when they happen, I hunker down on the couch with my hungry little monster and we both eat all day... One-handed, haha  I get a few days of baby snuggles, and I know I'm burning off the extra calories with increased milk production.
Still exhausting, but warm and snuggly. Good luck, mama!0
