All about the bloat???

I posted this thread outside of the group and no one has responded, maybe it's a foolish question  but I'll try my luck here as well....

So I try not to eat a lot of salty foods and I love water, I've been losing weight but can only notice it in the morning. For the first couple of hours my stomach looks flatter but as the day progresses, I look like I'm 9 months pregnant all over again, and I don't want that

A little history, I have 3 kids but have been pregnant 7 times, I have issues staying pregnant. My doctor would make me wait until I was 5 months to let people know but I always started to show, instantly. With my last pregnancy I told him that was going to be impossible, and I asked him why it was like that and he told me it was just because that's the way my stomach muscles are after being so pregnant. Now, that may have nothing to do with what I'm asking for help with but, I want to cover all my bases.

Any suggestions or clues as to why this could be happening to me?

was getting this way .. the bloat that is.. and found it was related to issues with dairy..,About a mont ago I cut all dairy and related products from my diet and all this has subsided in addition my skin has cleared and I no longer get obnoxious gas.

As for your Pg and those problems.. Sorry Jason for putting on my nursing hat.... Have they checked you for clotting issues/disorders?

I would guess either a food allergy or digestive issues. Be sure to take your probiotics. I know after I have a spike day and eat junk food I get bloated. When I am eating low calorie, low carb through the week, the bloat goes away. Also, could be artificial sweetners causing it.

I'm not a huge milk drinker but I may check into that because I love yogurt, etc...as for my other issues, thank you. And yes, my doctor is a womens specialist (he helped with my last 2 pregnancies and was the only one to diagnose what my issues were), I have to do heparin needles for the first couple months of pregnancies and then baby asprin. Thanks for the help and ideas.

I think I'll start monitoring how foods effect me, maybe I'll be able to notice what is doing it? I'm trying hard to knock out any junk foods and artifical sugars, I'm getting there.

Good thinking. You may try just eliminating one thing at a time and see if you notice anything.

just keep in mind it takes 2-3 weeks for the body to eliminate a allergen.

Starting monday I'm doing an elimination diet, first thing to go is dairy. The milk isn't what's going to bother me since I never really drank it anyways, it's the yogurt and cottage cheese I'm going to miss the most  but if this helps me figure out what's going on with me, I'll do it. My doctor is also testing my thyroid just in case. As far as probiotics go, I always just figured I was getting them through my yogurt (I'll be the first to admit I'm clueless) so, can you recommend a different source of them for me since I won't be having yogurt anymore?

I take them in supplement form. You can find them in just about any retailer.
