Hi!
I had my baby boy on December 19 through an emergency C-section. At the time I got pregnant last spring, I had lost 35 pounds and was always exercising, super excited about eating healthy, etc. I gained 50 pounds while pregnant, and am currently 25 pounds above where I would like to be. Started logging on here a couple of weeks ago, and just today went for my first post-baby run...I can tell already, though, that things are going to move a LOT slower now. Between taking care of Little Man and working full time, I don't have time for those 2-hour long runs and cooking marathons...and I'm good with that. Wouldn't sacrifice my precious time with T for anything. Just excited to have some support from people who understand! Looking forward to getting to know all of you!

My little girl was born on December 19th too! I've had 4 children, 1 natural birth, 1 emergency c-section, 1 failed VBAC (so a c-section) and my last little one by scheduled c-section. I also work full time. I used to be an avid runner, but ended up gaining a LOT of weight while on bedrest with baby #3. I didn't get that weight off yet when I got pregnant with #4. That being said, I've lost 40 pounds so far, so I'm well on my way. Good luck to you and welcome! I'm sure you'll find lots of encouragement and inspiration here.0

My baby girl was born on December 10 and I can understand the feeling of not having the time like you used to. My first child is 9 so before I got pregnant he was easy and would drag him with me and make him workout with me. Now this time around I just feel so tired so its hard to motivate myself. I understand completely I also work fulltime and by the time I get home, make dinner, clean up its almost 7pm and its so much easier to just sit down then to workout. I have lost close to 23lbs since giving birth and hope to keep it going. Good luck!!!0
