Eating more calories when your not hungry.

I am struggling......I use MFP and Body Media Fit Link. The BM calculates my entire day of calorie burn and then transfers that information to MFP. BM recognizes my activity at all levels. For example today MFP and BM have given me 2300 and change to eat ( some days more and some less...all depends on my activity)(diary is open), based on my activity and BMR. I am netting about 1000- 1200 calories at times but I am not hungry to eat more, I don't want to force myself into eating. I have tried to eat 6 meals, but many times I am barely hungry but I don't want to starve my body from what it needs. I work out 5 days a week. This is a basic schedule: Sunday Spin 50 minutes, Monday kickboxing or boot camp 50 minutes, Tuesday rebounding 45 minutes, Wednesday cardio and strength, Thursday jogging 3 miles . I am scared of gaining weight if making big changes, I am trying to build endurance with cardio, I am training for a triathlon on August 4, 2013 and am in hopes of dropping some serious weight so I can feel better doing it. It is a struggle to jog 3 miles right now but I can do it (NSV). Past history is down 100lbs gained 46 back and just recently lost 3 lbs. Where do I go from here? PS: I am not challanged with food however I am all plant based in diet and do come close to reaching my recomended requirements. Any insight would be helpful. Thanks again for taking on all of our challanges, you have a big heart!

Christine, what is your bmr. I pay no attention to the body media stuff..............I am old school lol
Based upon what you have to lose, I would say your bmr is close to 2,000 calories. If this is the case, you really should be eating in that range. If you are feeling too full, perhaps your macros need to be changed.0 -
The few times I have checked, I am not 100% sure on that. Fat 2 Fit Radio which is a populat site shows the Harris Benidict method as 1907. I don't have a problem eating more calories in number, since I have increased I have seen a small loss. The problem is the hunger factor. I am not sure how to change my macros? What would you suggest? PS: I don't know where to change them either. I am motivated and am willing to make changes as necessary. I want to make this happen!!

I don't care for standard mfp setting on macros. A good place to start is somewhere around 35%protein, 35% fat, 30%carbs. Everyone is different and responds differently to different macros settings. That is why starting with something balanced is a good idea.
As far as your hunger, nuts will pack the calories on fast without filling you up.0
