Eating correctly

So I started this jouney on MFP to loose about 25 pounds, Ive never been on a diet before and It started when I hit the gym ,right now I do cardio 6 times a week and weights (light) 3 times a week to tone up ! I plan on hitting heavier weights when my weight gets down a little, My problem is my eating I think, I dont believe Im eating enough and im trying differant ways to get my callories up. I just started protien bars in the morning along with a hard boiled egg, I was the type that would eat a whole sleave of cookie, I have never had to eat breakfast but im relizing now that I have to eat something in the morning. My other problem is that my schedule is I get home from work around 5pm and go to the gym not to come home and eat a dinner around 7:30-8:00pm, Ill eat chicken if allready made otherwise ive been eating cerial (low to none sugar). My question is because of the way that im eating do you think im setting my self up for disaster? I am in no way hitting my callories that im soppose to consume!

    Not sure how many calories you are consuming but you need to hit around bmr at a minimum. As far as breakfast is concerned, you don't have to eat something in the morning unless that is your personal choice. Prepare your protein sources ahead of time so you don't resort to cereal. Can you do gym before work? I do that for my mid week workout. Sometimes it's not easy getting up that early but it's nice to not be cooking late at night. Be sure to eat enough protein to prevent muscle loss along with your fat loss. Protein .5-1gm per lb of bodweight.

    Thank you! I thing my average has been about 1200 to 1300 were im soppose to eat around 2030, also im burning somewere around 700 to 800, which would bring me up to 2830

    I wouldn't worry about eating all those exercise calories. If you can keep it around 2000 you will be fine. If you get to feeling run down at 2,000 we can talk about changing things.
