Do you log your weight gain during pregnancy?

I'm not sure if I should be adding my weight gain during pregnancy under "check in" or not. Will this change the amount of calories I need for maintenance? I had been assuming the maintenance calories I should be eating during pregnancy would be based off of my pre-pregnancy weight. What do others do?

I am checking in once per week with my weight. I am eating maintence for the first trimester, adding 300 calories for the second and a couple hundred more per day in the third. I manually changed my goals and eat maintenence with my workouts already taken into consideration. For me that comes up to 2150 per day, no matter my activity for the first trimester.0

I do add my weight to keep track, but I adjust my calorie goal manually (based on amount of weight I've been gaining).0

I track it, it helps see where my gain is. IT also helps me see when I am losing and gaining the same 2-3 pounds week after week. I try to eat to hunger, allow myself treats, exercise, limit liquid calories and get as much sleep as I can.0

I've gained more than I'd like to have gained, but that's beside the point (I'm ok with it, as is my OB). I am basing my calories off my pre-pregnancy weight, which I believe is how you're supposed to do it. I am not the best about tracking, though, since I got my positive pregnancy test! (Hence the gain...)
Anyhow, I've left my weight where it was at its lowest on MFP, I have my calories set manually, and I will reset everything when I am cleared at my 6 weeks postpartum visit.0 -
I will be tracking my weight throughout the whole pregnancy. I'm only around 6 weeks and haven't gained. 4 of the 7lbs I've lost were actually during the first few weeks of my pregnancy.
I aim to gain about 20-25lbs in total (would be happy with less if doc says it's ok). I'll be eating at my weekly average TDEE for the first tirmester, 200 more the second trimester and another 200 more the third trimester and adjusting my caloire goal based on my weight.0 -
I do log my weight, so I can keep up with what I have gained. My normal calorie intake is 1200 calories, and my doctor says take in 300 more calories a day than I normally would throughout my whole pregnancy. He said I don't need to eat any more than usual 1500 calories, no matter how far along I am as long as I am eating healthy foods. So, I left it at 1200, but I eat 1500 calories. Sometimes more than that...yikes! I will continue to track my weight loss after I have my son, and then at about the 6 week mark, I know where to start with my "actual" weight loss and exercise. My weight from the day I found out I was pregnant is my "goal weight" in my fitness settings, so when I enter my weight loss after having him, then I can see if I go back to my same weight, or how much I have to work on. I use my diary to track calories, but not lose weight.0

I joined MFP after becoming pregnant specifically to monitor my weight gain and nutrition, so I do enter my weight gain under check-in. I used my pre-pregnancy weight as my starting weight, set my goal to gain 1/2 lb per week and my weight goal is set at 140 lbs (which would be a 25 lb gain for me). I didn't start until the 2nd trimester. So far it seems to work out to 300 calories above what I think would be maintenance- about 1800 net calories per day. I am 27 weeks along and have gained 15 lbs. I haven't noticed MFP changing any numbers when I change my recorded weight. Does that only happen if you are set at maintenance? I will continue to log and check-in until the baby arrives and then I'll probably give myself at least a 2 week break before weighing in again.0

I plan to log my weight gain throughout the pregnancy so hopefully I will avoid overeating and keep my weight under control.0

I am logging my weight gain, or in my case so far my weight loss. I think it will help me to not go overboard in calories. I am only 9 weeks. I actually have my calories set to lose a pound a week. But, I have been eating over that amount almost everyday. I have lost 7 lbs this pregnancy so far. Will up my calories the 2nd trimester.0

This is pretty much what I did. I set my goal to gain 1/2 lb a week and logged my weight gain every couple of weeks. Towards the end I threw caution to the wind and quit logging everything. I updated my final pregnancy weight then didn't log my weight loss until a week postpartum.
I gained 40 lbs with my pregnancy. I stayed pretty active and ate healthy 80% of the time. I am now 19 weeks pp and am 4 lbs away from my pre-pregnancy weight.
Congrats on your pregnancy! Just do what you think is right and you'll be fine0 -
I'm not, mostly because my Dr keeps track of it and I'm struggling to gain anyway. Once I deliver I will check in with my current weight at the time whether it is up or down.0

I'm adding when I gain. I have everything set to custom anyway, so it's not bothering anything.0

I didn't gain until about 3-4 months but I did log as I gained so I can see how it came on so hopefully it goes off in the same time. I have gained more than I had planned but the bright side is I am still no where near as big as I was when I was just fat:-)0

I add my weight every week. Because when I have the baby I will be devistated at how much mpf says I weigh and what my actual weight is0
