Exercise observation for TTW!

I've been working out hard for the past 10 weeks. So far, great results, but I still have body fat to shred.

Anyway, I have noticed a couple of things only we, as tall people (and tall men would get this too) can relate to.

First off, exercise bands are automatically harder because we have to stretch them further. We have to work a lot more to get the same range of motion that a smaller person would. Come to think of it, it's probably true with weights as well!

I have always had trouble in cardio classes because the instructor always seems to be going so fast. Well, my strides are longer, so it takes me more to do the same motion. Last night at Zumba, I was trying to keep up my arm motions with the instructor and it wasn't happening, so I made shorter motions, but at that point, it was half-@(#ing it. I just made the decision to keep form and be off from the rest of the group.

I've noticed in my classes, whether cardio or resistance, I do tend to tucker out sooner. I'm wondering if anyone else is in the same boat or if my theory that we're working just a tad harder is right?

I definitely notice it when doing things like marching in place with high knees. Everyone is going 1-2-1-2-1-2-1-2 really fast, and I'm like WOAHHH! My leg is still on its way down! haha

Or freaking push-ups with long arms and small boobs! I have to drop a LOT farther than short-armed, big boobed women. :grumble:
