I know I have been absent due to personal issues, but I wanted to invite everyone to participate in a 5K being sponsored by the company where I work. Please see release below and participate.
Shulman Rogers 5k Race to benefit The Children’s Inn at NIH
In honor of its 40th Anniversary in April of 2012, Shulman Rogers undertook A Special Year of Giving as a tribute to the clients and the community that supported the firm’s ongoing success. In addition to the regular annual charitable contributions, each month during the past year was dedicated to a local non-profit organization. Some of the organizations served were Ivymount School, District Alliance for Safe Housing, Habitat for Humanity and Hospice Caring, Inc.
The capstone finale event is a 5k race/walk being held on Saturday, April 6, 2013. All proceeds from the race will be given to The Children’s Inn at NIH (see childrensinn.org for more information). There will be a USATF Certified 5K race and a short children’s fun run. Both races start at 12505 Park Potomac Avenue, Potomac, Maryland. The challenging 5K race will go up Seven Locks Road, right on Wooton Parkway, turn around near Clydes and wind around back up the same route with a few uphills.
