Let me tell you a little about myself~I taught Elem. school for 32 yrs (mostly 3rd gr) & retired 4 yrs ago. My daughter just had her 1st baby March 18th~A little boy~ Noah~Yeah! My son & his wife have a 6yr old girl....so that gives me "one" of each~
My hubby & I are going on a Southern Caribbean cruise April 5-14th~for our 20th wedding anniversary~
I am starting this challenge now, because I want to lose about 5-7 lbs before we go, to give me a little "lead way" for all the tempting food! HA! We have been on cruises before, so we know to do ALOT of walking & "limit" the desserts~(The 1st cruise we went on, we both gained 7-10 lbs~You tend to think,"I have paid for this, I need to get my money's worth"ha!)
It would be tempting to start after we get back, but I think starting now will help me watch what I am doing on the cruise~

This week I have to step it up and get in exercise since I spent the last 5 days basically sitting on my butt with vacation. I did lose some, but that was really right up until we left on Thurs. and so I just maintained through vacation. Mostly b/c I ended up sick the first day! So this week is back to the HIGH motivation, the exercise, and lots of water!!0 -

*My hubby & I are leaving on a cruise for our 20th anniversary , week from Friday~I am joining now to be accountable while I am gone, so I don't gain too much eating the buffets! HA!
My plan is to walk alot & get in the ship's gym (if its not too crowded) & limit desserts~
I will check in again before I leave & again when we get back....wish me luck! HA!

I am going away for a week early tomorrow morning (UK time) so I thought I'd post my weigh in today.

Weekly struggle: I have had a week off work and when I have spare time there's nothing I love more than cooking (and my bf has been nagging me to cook him delicious cakes / easter treats) and of course with them sitting there I have been eating them! And I have only been doing one fast day a week when I'm supposed to do it twice
Weekly strength: I have started doing jillian michaels ripped in 30 and so far I'm really enjoying it, I find it funner and faster paced than 30 day shred and you only have to do 5 workouts a week which I find suits me better than everyday. Also, my period started today which I'm very happy about as I have missed some and they have been very irregular since losing weight so I was really worried I had messed up my menstrual cycle and possibly caused some long term fertility issues but it seems my body is adjusting to my new lifestyle!

Quick update: I weighed myself this morning and I am now 129 lb. I'm finally in the 120's! Never been here in my adult life0

ahhhh! almost back to my low!! i'm at 147!! great food week... terrible exercise week. hopefully i can fix that this week! Thanks for keeping me accountable! Otherwise, I'd prob not care as much.0

I'm skipping weigh in this week. I know I'm up, I had a terrible week with feeling sick and getting into an emotional slump. I didn't exercise once and I know I did terrible with food. I'm embarrassed in myself. Anyway, I'm avoiding the scale this week because I don't want it to effect next week. It may sound stupid, but if I see exactly how much I'm up, I'm afraid I just won't care anymore. I'll be back next week, hopefully with some good news0
