Anyone use this website? A guy I was talking to on a dating site last week mentioned it. Wondering if I'm out of the loop on this one or what? Reviews, thoughts?

I signed up for a day so I could check it out, then I deleted my account.
Basically you post whatever dates you are free with what you want to do... "Meet me at Barnes & Noble on Monday". Someone responds.
On your profile, you put what you'd like to do (even if you don't have a day in mind). I just put that I'd like to go for a cup of coffee so I could get the account built.
I browsed through and was unimpressed. There was a calendar area, showing what "dates" were available. Pretty much the same few guys posting dates 5-7 days/week. There was also a scramble area. It scrambled the face, but gave you a few details about the guy (pretty easy to figure out who he was if you looked at any other pages, though). I can't remember the entire premise of the scramble, though.
Anyway...what I didn't like:
- There weren't many men my age.
- By seeing a man post 5-7 dates on a calendar per week, it made me feel like one of many women he would see. I don't care if he's going on 2-3 first dates, but it's something I don't want to see plastered on a wall. One of those, out of site, out of mind things.
Just not my cup of tea...0 -
I was just scrolling through this morning and at least the main page seems more like facebook to meet new people and possibly date. There are a ton of people on it in my area, so maybe I'll try it for a few days.0

All these dating websites... :noway:
To me, all these things feel a bit like the next "miracle diet pill". Same bullsh!t again and again, when often the problem is just right there, it's us.
I see one benefit to this abundance of websites though (same benefit as all the "diet/exercise flavour of the month" have), it can reintroduce some "fun" in the process when it gets old doing the same thing and if we're losing momentum. So I suppose it is better than giving up altogether.
