LIFTED MORE! Ugh, I think I'm too hard on myself some days. I really want to drive back to the box and try again. Need to turn the over achiever switch off. We did max DL today and I got 135#. Up from 115# from my last DL. I really wanted to get #155 but that bar wasn't budging. On a happier note I rx'd my wods yesterday and today! I've moved up to a 35#kb, 24" box jump, 75# hang clean and I almost have my unassisted kip PU down!!

I'm right there with you! I get so disappointed sometimes that I can't lift more! Just remind yourself that you keep making improvements! Rome wasn't built in a day, you know?0

Posts like yours make it so apparent to me that we are all hard on ourselves and perfectionists lol. I beat myself up for the opposite reasons - I have the strength stuff down with a DL of 195, but box jumps, pullups, double unders....apparently all the "agility" stuff is what I suck at and I hate it.
I guess we all just have to keep at it. I envy your 24" box jump. I just graduated to a 20" only a couple weeks ago and it is difficult for me! Awesome job A kip PU? Are you kidding me? I can dream....
You will get there lady - keep at it!0 -
I do that all the time too - not to lift heavier (every time I do that I kill my back) but to go harder and faster. it's like I try to save a piece of myself and then the WOD ends - damn.0

Rome wasn't built in a day. I need that on a shirt!
@kelr0110, I envy your 195# DL! I just did my first 24" box jump in a wod yesterday. They were actually burpee box jumps. Oh the joys! haha. I dedicated myself to 20" box jump for the month of Feb and ended up doing 1,591 that month. Last week we did a max box jump and I got 30". Not sure how I will move up from there!
@Mummyadams, I do that too! Then at the end of the wod everyone is laying around making sweat angels and I'm twiddling my thumbs begging for a post wod =P0
