I have a ringing festival next week, which means I'll be out of town from Wednesday afternoon through Sunday afternoon. So, I'll miss my Thursday morning lifting session. That will be my first lifting session missed since starting in January (and only my second workout to miss).

This was my thought process this morning:
I could shift my lifting schedule from Sun-Tue-Thur to Sat-Mon-Wed and not have to miss. Then, hopefully I could go Sunday night when I get back as long as we get back at a reasonable time. Granted, that would mean my car would smell horrible because I'd be leaving my workout clothes in it for four days, but for some reason I'm ok with that. And, since we'll likely be ringing after all three services on Sunday, the shifted schedule works pretty well with Easter too.

I truly think I've become possessed.

Did you check the couch cushions? I lose all kinds of things there. I was a little stressed over my schedule getting messed up, but since my deload last week I've calmed down a bit. I'm missing Friday and possibly Monday as I'm going to go visit fam and it doesn't really bother me. I wish I could transfer some of this zen to you.

    Go for it!

I miss lifting when I have to take a break, even a small one...and gym sweat smell? Pah, there is worse...

The sweat stink will go away eventually. Just drive with your windows down for a few days.

As far as changing your lifting schedule, it's only a little crazy. But we understand!

I have to be away from home for 1 week in May which was completely unexpected (was planning on taking exercise/diet break for 1 week in June when I'm Vegas) and I'm ALREADY Stressing about it

Just switch up your days....that's the beauty of this program......and drive with the windows down

I do change ringing (dude, where are the British ladies?!):

Basically, I'm like the hunch back of Notre Dame... There are thousands of change ringing towers in the UK (although some are in disrepair), but less than 50 in North America (and probably less than a thousand ringers). So, we have annual festivals (this is a more local one as compared to the national festival which is in the fall) where we get together, work on new methods, and just kind of hang out and have a good time.

And with that much pulling on hemp ropes, my hands are usually trashed, so there will likely be pictures forth coming of my hands...

Ah, we call that "bell ringing" over here, or "campanology" if you want to be posh :) It looks like a lot of fun, although most of our towers are now mechanised.

THIS is cool...Apparently there is a "team" in Raleigh, which is only about 45 minutes from here. I may need to check it out. (Not to DO, but more to listen-I love the way bells sound!)

    you campanologist you!

we're away over the Easter weekend so yesterday was my last gym day until at least Tuesday... I'm making my peace with it, and tempted to put my running kit in so I do -something-...
