mfp calorie estimations?

I know a hrm is best, but I don't have one- I might ask for one for Christmas. Anyway, I use the mfp estimates for calories burned during exercise and I noticed this week that the estimate went up by about 10 calories per 30 minutes of exercise. Is this because when I weighed in my weight went up? Just curious.

I am not sure how well a hrm would work during pregnancy - I know my heart rate is very different while pregnant and it is much easier to elevate it. I would imagine it is a higher weight causing higher burns, yes - I had noticed as I lost weight they went down so it makes sense to me it would go the other way too :)

Yeah I noticed that the only difference on mfp if you log your gains throughout your pregnancy is in the exercise section.

Yes, as your weight goes up, your estimated calorie burns go up. That's how some people on my FL who are much heavier than I am can log the same exercise as I might log but burn 1.5-2x the calories. That is, until I started using a HRM.
