Hiya I am doing my first spartan this yeah any tips lol?

Which race are you doing? This is the general advice I give about Spartan races -
Sign up to get the Spartan Race workout of the day. Those work outs focus on agility and body weight exercises. Those are MUCH more important than the running part. The obstacles are the hard part of the race, the running between in the break you get from the obstacles. If you have trails near you, practice running in the dirt. It's definitely different than running on the pavement. You will want to get some trail shoes, most running shoes do not really provide very good dirt traction.
The Sprint distance is not long enough to really be worried about, you will finish, it's only 5 miles (they say 5k+ but they really mean it's 5 miles or close to it). If you are running a Super then can't ignore the running, you will have to make sure you are up for the distance as it will certainly be 8-10 miles. You can finish this distance on sheer willpower, but it's much harder. If you are doing a Beast, then you have to train everything. The distance will be close to 15 miles - definitely more than a half marathon so you will definitely need to be running a lot of trails.0
