What'd you guys think?
I liked how they set up Dany's and Tyrion's storyline. Charles Dance is a parent I would not want to disappoint lol
Did NOT like Robb imprisoning Cat. What happened to that "Nobody calls my lady of Winterfell a traitor in my hearing!"
Also thought they made Jon's reasoning for switching sides pretty lame. Jon didn't even ask how Mance knew he was Ned Stark's *kitten*. Kept waiting for "did you see where they seated the *kitten*?" But I guess things would get complicated and require more explaining.
One thing I was confused about, where was the ruin where Robb, Cat, and Talisa saw all those Northman bodies strewn about?

That ruin was Harrenhall, I believe. Which I don't think Robb visited in the books.0 -
I was happy to see the giants (I was hoping to see them at the end of last season). I was also happy that they revealed Arstan Whitebeard is Ser Barristan Selmy right away and not draw it out longer but, I hope this doesn't mean we don't get Strong Belwas.0

Word is that we will get no Strong Belwas and like it. I guess they have to trim things to fit the whole monster into a TV series, but I was a little bummed about that too.0

I'm very bummed about no Strong Belwas. I would've liked Ser Barristan to have hung out for a while as Whitebeard, but that's not a huge deal.
The Unsullied haggling scene was great, as was Tyrion's conversation with Tywin.
All in all, I thought they did an excellent job of packing a ton of set-up into the first episode.0
