BBCA Companions Special

Did anyone watch this last night? I thought it was okay. Nothing very insightful into the companions. Was fun to hear Tennant and his Scottish accent. Aside from being Capt'n Jack, John Barrowman is such a huge fanboy. I can almost hear him squee'ing when he was actually cast to be in Doctor Who. It was very very cute.
I was excited they had a preview for this Saturday's new episode since there was no preview at the end of Bells.
Did they really have to end the special with the end of Angel Take Manhattan? Yes, I cried again.

It makes me sad that Christopher Eccleston doesn't seem to want anything to do with DW. They need to have mercy on John Barrowman (and me) and bring back Captain Jack!0 -

I was surprised he was in this. I thought I heard he would not be inthe 50th anniversary special.0 -
I didn't see it... there's a tendency for Auntie Beeb to produce shows like this and half the time it's an hour full of D list celebrities (at best) whom I've never heard of talkng about their favourite moments, complete with a total of about 30 minutes of assorted clips.
But to be fair... this one did look reasonable... I didn't see it because I figured it would probably be on the Blu Ray Season 7 set and it'll get re-run anyway.
The one Special the Beeb did that I *really* enjoyed was Doctor Who In America0 -
I watch them all. I am a Doctor Who omnivore... a very hungry one.
