Hey all
I started on 10 minute trainer 2 weeks ago in an attempt to get my fitness and stamina levels where they should be for other beachbody programs. I'm 2 weeks into the Accelerated Results program and I can honestly say that I'm loving it. I suffered from a knee and hip injury two years ago that put me out of action for a year, so i figured i should start slowly. So far, I'm only having the odd uncomfortable twinge with my knee but that's mainly after I've done 40+ minutes, and it's nowhere near as frequent as it was the first couple of days. Some days i like to add one or two extra segments on if i feel i have the energy. I carry most of my weight on my thighs and hips so I'm hoping as my body reduces in size it will become less of a hindrance. I'm aware I've rambled a bit and gone off track...sorry about that. My question really was, what program would you all recommend for when I've finished the Ten minute trainer and why? Looking forward to the responses!

How about 12 minute trainer? OK I'm being silly, but seriously - just do something a bit harder, with either more duration or intensity. If you have joint issues, do things that don't hit the joints to badly. Maybe swimming or an elliptical machine...0

i do the 30 minute schedule, with extras most days, i really just wondered about the other beachbody programs because they have schedules. I like schedules....they keep me focused on what I'm supposed to be doing. Its hard to fit the gym in between my crazy work schedules, my children and the housework and cooking, which is why i chose the home fitness route, and my house isn't big enough for fitness machines unfortunately. I walk a huge amount, because i don't have a drivers license. Just wanted some input about the other Beachbody programs with regards to progression from the ten minute trainer. Definitely going to introduce swimming on my day off with the children if i can though0

I went from 27years of never working out to completing Insanity.....and I LOVE it!!! I'm currently on round 2,week 2. I didn't have any health/physical problems prior to starting well other than being overweight. But I personally Love Shaun T. He really gets me pumped. What I did before choosing a program was I looked up the before/after results and watched youtube videos. I'm glad I chose Insanity. (:
But that's just my opinion!0 -
thanks for the input! I really want to try insanity as well! My partner is on his 2nd round also and it looks like so much fun! I think I've settled on P90 next and complete the schedule there, and then move onto P90X , after that, I'm going to have a look at some hybrid schedules. I like schedules :P0
