Hey guys! I just started Insanity this morning and I can tell I'm gonna love/hate this workout
I need some help please though. I'm saving up to buy a really good quality HRM but until then I have to estimate my calories burned. Since Insanity is so intense I know it's important that I don't drastically understate these numbers. So I was just wondering, anyone who has around the same stats as me, can you please tell me your average workout burns? My stats are given below
Female
Age- 19
Height- 5ft5
Current Weight- 143.5
Thanks so much to whoever responds!

Hi there - without a HRM (even a basic one), you can't really guestimate your workout burn because everyone is different. Even with the same weight/height/age, it will also depend on how hard you push yourself.0

before my HRM I estimated Insanity as "circuit training" and it was pretty close to the estimate when I got my HRM.0

Hi Doll. I use an HRM but before that I would check with this site http://www.everydayhealth.com/food-fitness/exercise-activity/calories-burned-conditioning-exercises and MFP. I log it in as cardio.0

@brawlerbella - wow...the estimates from that site actually came pretty close to my HRM reading. Thanks for the sharing!0
