Baby Registry?

Hey ladies, I was wondering what are must-haves on your baby registry or list to have once baby comes home. I had my son 18 months ago, but can't remember those first few months very well :P. Plus, I'm having a girl this time. I've started a list, but I wanted to get other people's lists of must haves!

This is #4 for me. My must-haves always include a coming home outfit, nursing bras, gas drops, diapers (of course), baby memory book, Infant Tylenol, swaddling blankets, baby shampoo, baby lotion (my baby's are so DRY!), lots of onesies, Dreft detergent, sleeping gowns to make middle-of-the-night diaper changes faster, sanitizer, binkies, and lots of cute bows for little one's hair since it's a girl. (A little tip I learned for girls: you can get a little ribbon bow to stick to their head using a little KY. Comes right off with water. ) Oh, and a few postpartum items for myself like maxi pads, possibly tucks, etc.

I'm skipping over carseat, swing, etc, because I'm assuming you have big and/or reusable items from your son still?

Thanks for asking for this list. You made me realize what I still need to buy for myself in the next few weeks!

Thanks! I have some of these items, but I need to start putting the hospital bag together in the next month or so! I never heard about the bow thing before. I definitely have gripe water on my list...I'm thinking I want to get some baby-friendly essential oils too!

Shoot, this is a hard one! I have a two-year-old son, and I don't know what I'm having this time (we didn't find out the first time, either). The good thing for us is that everything we have that is for a newborn/young infant is neutral.

Ummm, I think the only thing I need to buy is newborn diapers. I know I still have a lot of sizes 1 and 2 left over from the first time, but I don't have any newborn diapers. I plan on buying a small pack of Huggies Little Snugglers at Publix this week, since they have a $3 off coupon in their flyer (good through 4/10/13), and I just printed off a $2.50 coupon from the Huggies site.

As for what I plan to bring back out, the bassinet is one thing, I need to re-sterilize my old breast pump and the new one I just bought (because insurance will reimburse me for all but $20 of it, so it made sense), I think I still have some Dreft but will probably pick up some All Free Clear or the Kirkland (Costco) version, I need to bring out the infant tub with the sling for newborns, NB and 0-3 month clothes (mostly onesies and sleep gowns), baby blankets/swaddles, bibs/spit-up cloths/rags, bouncy seat, infant car seat/carrier, Snap 'n Go stroller, breastfeeding supplies (lanolin, breast pads, and breastmilk storage bags), Aquaphor baby wash (because it's less harsh than Johnson & Johnson), and baby oil gel (awesome for rubbing into the scalp and then washing out for cradle cap or any eczema splotches). If you're not breastfeeding or are supplementing, then you'll need formula (I'm sure you'll have plenty of samples) and bottles sterilized and ready to go.

I think that's it! It's hard for me to remember, too, and it also has not been that long. I figure there will be a few things I'll figure out as I go, but those are the things I can think of right now that the baby will need right off the bat. I hope it helps!
