Good morning ladies!

Does anyone use a heart monitor watch? Does it help? If so, any recommendations? For the least expensive ones? ha
Husband just applied for college last night, want to see if they are worth it before spending the money!

Well, before I converted over to the TDEE method that already has exercise included in it, I had a sportline HRM from Wal-Mart. It was $25.00 and is most likely not as accurate as the ones with the chest straps, but it got the job done most of the time. Sometimes it would go on a fritz wouldn't read my heart rate and I know my calories burned were probably weren't even close to what I truly burned because of it.

Honestly, If I didn't convert to the TDEE method, I probably would have went ahead and invested the $80.00 or so that it costs for a Polar HRM, which is a watch monitor with a chest strap.

But if you don't mind the occasional slip up, the watch only ones will get the job done 95% of the time. lol
