Matthew 6:34 (NIV)
"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
As a teacher, you learn to live month-to-month waiting for that paycheck to arrive. Other professions, the same thing, holding on for days and days just waiting for that money to come in. We wait and wait, stressing over everyday life. This, clearly, is human nature and is within all of us. Will that ever change? Probably not. However, we can live for today for tomorrow is not given to us. Live each day in Him and be thankful we are above ground TODAY. Tomorrow, God may need us up in heaven to prepare the way for others.
This is my response when people ask me:
"Coach, how are you today?"
"I'm above ground, so praise the Lord!"
Have a blessed day everyone and keep the faith!

Good one today. Thanks for sharing. It was a stressful week for me with all the state testing going on. This was a good reminder.0
