Hey veggie buddies
Been vegan about 3 years, and i am JUST starting a strength training program. The book I am using is called "Body by You" by Mark Lauren, the same guy who wrote "You Are Your Own Gym"...it's a program of ALL body weight exercises (LOVE--no equipment or weights), and it takes u through progressions that build u to being able to do push ups, pull ups, etc
So, I train 3x a week, for about 15-20 mins a day, following the program.
I want to continue losing weight, but really I wanna lose BODY FAT, so I am looking to up my protein a bit to support muscle mass.
What are some great vegan proteins that u use? So far, I use:
-hemp protein powder
-tofu and tempeh
-occasionally, seitan
-beans
-vegan cheese
-nuts
do i need more?

When I was strength training I used Plant Fusion Protein
No dairy
No Soy
No Animal
Hypoallergenic
Gluten Free
I had noticeable results with it. I have the Chocolate flavor.....taste wasn't the greatest but I got used to it. I Google it before purchasing to find the best price.0 -
Is it not possible to get 1g per kilo of lean bodyweight of protein per day from your normal vegan diet? Not having a dig; serious question.0
