A Bad Day

Today was horrible. I did not get out to grocery shop till after dinner, so I ate left over fried chicken all day. I went to the store tonight to get some things for the next few days till our big grocery shopping trip this weekend. I came way under my calories, but nutrition stunk today.
It does not help that I ran out of my roasted chickpeas, so I was munching on chicken while doing work at my computer today! Needless to say I broke every rule I have had for a while today. Lesson learned for now as I feel sick to my stomach and just drained.
Broken Rules Today -
- Fried food (Fried chicken all day)
- Sugar (1 Cadbury Creme Egg)
- Caffeine ( A coffee, I have been mostly decaf for a couple months now with little splurges here and there)
On the good side of things I made plans with my girlfriend to run around with her and her kids at a playground tomorrow, so it will be an active day. I also reinstalled MFP on my phone and it is on my home screen. I dug out my Bodybugg too.

I've had the type of day you had yesterday. I just have to keep reminding myself that I am making imperfect progress on this journey. While your nutrition could have been a lot better, you did have some progress:
1. You learned (or were reminded) you can't eat that way anymore.
2. You still came in under calories.
3. You know tomorrow is another day to keep moving forward.
4. You made plans to move today.
5. You have the tools to help you out.0 -

We all have days that we "fall off the wagon." The key is to get back on, and you are doing exactly that. Good for you that you realized it as quickly as you did.0
