2 Corinthians 5:14-15 (NIV)
"For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again."
Human emotions play a large part in our daily decision making. The ringing of a bell outside a store during the Christmas season compels many to give. Watching a tv evangelist in a foreign country where the kids are starving and have no fresh water compel many to give so that others may have. How about the sight of a cross. Does that sight bring a tear to your eye and compel you to say a short prayer of thanks? Our emotions do compel us to do things and above we read where Christ's love is the greatest compelling factor of all. Praise God!
Have a blessed Friday and glorious weekend. Keep the faith!
