Don't fancy running, treadmills and/or ellipticals but want to get some cardio in? Think complexes! Can be done with weights or just body weight; whatever you happen to have available and/or happen to be in the mood for.

Sample Body weight complex:

The Angry Birds workout: http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/2011/03/10/angry-birds-workout-plan

Sample Kettlebell complex:

Sample Barbell complex:

Sample Dumbbell complex:

Do a search for whatever type of complex you're interested in, suited to your fitness level, and have at it.

Happy non-running cardio!

(P.S. Thank you Vegas for sending me down that trail. Loves it! :flowerforyou: )

I love a good kettlebell workout. But I am also content to sit and peddle my life away on my stationary bike lol.

I enjoy running, but I on;y like running outside. That usually isn't an option for me during the week. These are perfect. I also downloaded an app to my phone. Spartacus workout. I love it! It's the same principle, you can use whatever weight you want or none it all. It was totally worth the 3 bucks.

No problem! I'm glad the information is being used!

I think I'm going to try the complexes sooner rather than later. I'm still fine with my treadmill after lifting, but why not change it up sooner rather than later!

I would love for some feedback on those barbell complexes too!
