In another group I am involved in, they made a topic about having 'escape plans' -- do you have any? Do you keep a notebook full of options that don't involve binge eating? Other coping strategies?
List them here! Or go over the other thread post and tell me which ones help you the most

Although I havent been too successful recently I have been coming up with more strategies.
Now that the dreadmill is accessible for me I walked this afternoon when I had the urge to eat that Dominos lava cake that is sitting in the fridge. With Biggest Loser (Hulu) on the telly my time went pretty fast.
Accumulated goodies for "spa nights" and have given myself facial & pedi twice this past week.
Spending more time reading the forums here too. Kinda inspiring to see other peoples successes. I haunt an old punk grrrl site I've been part of for years and spending more time there too. My husbands hours leave me alone for the majority of the time so I'm working on filing more of that space.
A good FB friend in Colorado and I have been cheering one another on as well. I think keeping my mind in the right frame is key to doing better. I let getting bored or stressed ruin things and it helps to have someone to both listen to my whines and give me a swift kick in the *kitten*.
It pains me to say, but having one less adult child in my home is a good thing.0 -

Going on the treadmill for even 20 minutes leaves me in a better mood and mindset! It's the best idea for me if I'm feeling binge-y
Sometimes online games or forums wastes my time... but in a good way If I come here instead of to the kitchen, it doesnt matter if I'm on for an hour... as long as I avoided a binge
I like all your ideas! You're doing great. :flowerforyou:
Lol... it's not too terrible to say... having less kids in the house would help. I have siblings I babysit a lot, they stress me out.0 -
