Jumping rope

I tried jumping rope last night, and never sweated so much even when I run for 20 mins varying speed between 6 and 8 mph.And I only jumped for a minute at a time resting in between for roughly a minute, about seven reps. Does anyone else incorporate jumpingrope into their workouts? I guess it's very effective since I sweated a lot, unless I'm just not used to jumping in place and mybbody was rejecting my actions, haha.

Anyhow, it's a different and kinda fun activity, can't wait till I'm skipping like a pro boxer!

    That'd be a great change of pace, thanks! (it looks like it's about the same calorie burn as running from all the sources I can find)

    definitely gets the heart rate up. I like doing lateral jumps too.
