Help! My weight is suddenly going in the wrong direction.

Up to last week, everything was going very well. I'd lost 12 pounds since the beginning of the year without too much difficulty. All of a sudden, without my doing anything differently, I've gained back 2-1/2 lbs. I know that as we grow older, our metabolism slows down. I can't exercise any more than I do, since I religiously put in about 2 hours a day, and going below 1200 calories is pretty drastic. Any advice?
