Hey all. I may be over thinking this but I have read so so so much about whole30 that now I feel like I don't know anything about it. I need some basics please...like, sample breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack ideas that are quick and delicious. How to keep your veggies like your greens in the fridge all week without going bad, etc. The basics of the "food" really. I know what I can and cannot eat, but for the life of me, I can't thing of one thing to eat. I am on information overload and I think it totally erased my brain and I don't want to be stressing over this. I just want to enjoy this journey. Thanks in advance!

Breakfast: scramble eggs with peppers, onions, tomatoes and sausage. Or if you're on-the-go, make "muffins" with these ingredients. I usually carry an avocado with me to eat with breakfast or lunch.
    Lunch: leftovers from dinner
Dinner: crockpot chicken or beef roast with veggies.

On Sunday, make chicken salad, tuna salad, roast a chicken and toss a beef roast in the crockpot. Voila! Lunch & dinner for days! :) Also, boil some eggs for quick, portable protein.

I'm still creating my menu for next week, but once it's done, I'll post here with details.

Definitely make your own mayo - I've used that more than I thought I would as bases for salad dressings and to add to tuna for lunch. Here's a list of some of my go-to meals:

    - Thai beef lettuce wraps (essentially ground beef with peppers, onions, garlic, coconut aminos, basil)
    - Burger patties - beef or turkey, both are good.
    - Hardboiled eggs as an easy snack when you're about to chew your own arm off; olives and almond butter and nuts (not all together) are nice in emergencies, too.
    - Spaghetti with spaghetti squash instead of noodles (make your own sauce, of course)
    - Grilled chicken/steak/other meats
    - Frittata using leftover meat and chopped veggies
    - Stirfry with any kind of meat and veggies - keep a stash of W30-compliant spices and you can turn this into a curry, a Chinese dish, Mexican, etc.
    - Fajitas, either just the meat/veggies alone, or over a salad, or wrapped in lettuce leaves
    - Meatloaf (make your own seasoning) with mashed cauliflower
    - Salad with chopped up deli meat/veggies/olives on top

It really does get easier once you get rolling. :)
