So, I've been thinking a lot lately about the difference between a great running day and a horrible one. Many of us have heart rate monitors which can certainly help us judge the cardio effort we are putting into a run. I'm just wondering if it would be helpful to have a device that measures say lactic acid build up or something else too.... What types of information do you think would make an awesome running device? (It doesn't have to be feasible)

Something that would keep the family sedated until I get back. I hate worrying if they are expecting me home at a certain time. It's grates on my mind (and nerves) and running is definitely a mental sport.
